Joseph Gabalski

Joseph Gabalski is a private piano teacher and accompanist located in Manassas, Virginia. He is the Director of Music at Bush Hill Presbyterian Church in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a certified Suzuki Book 1 and Book 2 instructor. Mr. Gabalski will be training in Book 3 in Colorado in June of 2023. A graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, he has performed recitals throughout the United States and toured the US, Canada and Europe with his choirs. In addition to his teaching duties and service in the church, he is an administrator at Independence High School in Manassas, Virginia.

Located in Manassas, Virginia, the Gabalski Piano Studio provides an environment where students are encouraged to explore the world of music. As a music teacher trained in Suzuki Book 1 and 2, he specializes in working with beginning students.

The Suzuki Method

The Suzuki Method works on the principle that all children can learn music through the same process they learn their mother tongue language. With this approach, children can develop their abilities during the early absorbing and sensitive years far beyond what most people previously imagined.

Piano Lessons
​
​Lessons are taught in a home setting. Beginning students typically take lessons that are 30 minutes in length and attend one lesson per week. More advanced players will have either a 45 minute or 60 minute lesson. Students also are provided recital and masterclass opportunities throughout the year. Parents are expected to attend lessons.
